About the Department
The Department of Samhita Sanskrit & Siddhanta forms the foundation of Ayurvedic education. It deals with the study of classical Ayurvedic texts, Sanskrit language, and fundamental philosophical principles of Ayurveda, enabling students to understand Ayurveda in its original form.
Vision
To preserve, propagate, and promote the classical wisdom of Ayurveda through systematic study of Samhitas, Sanskrit, and Siddhanta.
Mission
• To impart authentic knowledge of Ayurvedic Samhitas
• To develop Sanskrit proficiency for textual interpretation
• To inculcate Ayurvedic Siddhanta for clinical and research application
• To encourage scholarly and ethical Ayurvedic practice
