The Department of Kaumarabhritya or Balroga at Monark Ayurved Hospital provides treatment and therapies for patients of the pediatric age group.

Kaumarbrutya /Balroga is one branch among the Ashtanga Ayurveda, which deals with nourishment of the child, nursing mother (Dhatri), the vitiation of the breast milk and its treatment, diseases due to the intake of vitiated breast milk and GrahaRogatogether with their treatment. Therapies are specifically designed for illness in infants, children and adolescents.

At Monrk Ayurved Hospital, Various authentic Ayurvedic treatments for childhood diseases like poor growth or developmental delay, digestive imbalance and malnourishment disorders, poor concentration, underweight or childhood obesity, delayed milestones, musculoskeletal diseases, fever, skin disorders and other diseases affecting children, are given in OPD and IPD. Therapeutic procedures including abhyanga, swedana, basti, etc. panchakarma and allied procedures are done with due care to the disease condition, age of the child and dosha predominance using standardized SOPs and excellent hygiene for indoor and outdoor patients.

The OPD conducts the popular Suvarnaprashan Camp for children in the Hospital premises and nearby villages for the prevention of diseases via its immune modulatory and intellect promoting properties. It is conducted free of cost every month on Pushya Nakshatra day.
